The great subprime crisis left all of us in a bay of fire. However it seems that things are getting better. Home Affordable Modification Plan actually seems a ray of hope, but really can’t say how effective its application would be. To qualify for it, in itself is little bit difficult. I felt that this plan suggest minimum standards and not a maximum. Another exciting plan could be Eco towns. Well these townships provide a healthy living style and curb the cost of carbon emission as well. So investing in Eco towns would help saving cost on carbon emission, healthcare cost and also the HAMP. This is awesome!!!

I agree with Katie, why do not they extend it to 2010? since they did it now for 2 consecutive years, do you see any chances for another similar credit going into 2010??

They need to extend the credit at the very least another year, through December 1, 2010! The economy is NOT on the upswing and rather questionable! Who are these people we vote for in Congress REALLY? Why don’t they wait for the rest of the lay-offs to happen and the real work to begin? Several of us need stability BEFORE we decide to rely on OUR government to reimburse US $8,000 to re-stimulate OUR housing market! Does anyone pay attention anymore?
